Claiming a business on Yelp is how you manage your Yelp Page. Claiming your Yelp business page allows you to edit the details on your page and gives you access to a suite of free tools and metrics for your business. For example, once you claim your Yelp business page, you can update your hours, add details about your business, upload photos, respond to reviews, and more.

Having an unclaimed Yelp business listing doesn’t mean potential customers can’t find you, it just means what potential customers find may not accurately reflect your business.   • Go to your business’ Yelp page
  • Click on “Claim this business” on the right
  • Create a Yelp for Business Owners account or sign into your existing account
  • Confirm that Yelp has the correct phone number for your business

  • Go to Yelp for Business at biz.yelp.com/claim.
  • Find your business by typing in your business name. If it’s listed, click on it. If it’s not listed, click “Add to Yelp for Free.”

There is currently no way to remove your business from Yelp on your own, but you can request to be removed from Yelp. Such a request is rarely granted due to Yelp’s policy and monetization plan.

You don’t have to be a business owner to add a business onto Yelp. Users can create listings for businesses currently not on Yelp. It usually takes under two days for a business listing to be approved by Yelp administrators.

  • Go to business.google.com/add.
  • Enter the name and address of the business, then choose it from the search results
