Today I’m writing about “SAAS BUSINESS MODEL – #1 BEST FOR ME?”
Wikipedia defines SaaS Business Model as”
“a centrally hosted software licensing and delivery model of subscription-based licensed software. It is sometimes called “on-demand software” and was formerly referred to as “software plus services” by Microsoft. SaaS applications are also known as on-demand software and Web-based/Web-hosted software.”
“SaaS is part of cloud computing, along with infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), desktop as a service (DaaS), managed software as a service (MSaaS), mobile backend as a service (MBaaS), data center as a service (DCaaS), and information technology management as a service (ITMaaS).”
“Most SaaS apps are typically accessed by users using a thin client, e.g., via a web browser. SaaS has become a standard delivery model for many business applications. SaaS includes:

The Birth of an Idea
I founded Idea To Growth LLC on my birthday on Jan 22, 2017, because it was a Sunday. Monday, Jan 23, 2017, became the “legal” founding Idea To Growth LLC, the latest of my many startups.
I was 6-8 years of age when one afternoon I wanted some candy. My Grandmother told me, “If you want candy, you need to go earn some money to buy it!”. I asked her, “What would anyone pay me money to do?”. She said, “Well, you do a pretty good job mowing our yard and trimming the azaleas. Maybe the neighbors need someone to do that for them!”. I started knocking on doors, and soon I was mowing yards and earning money to buy candy.
My life as an “Entrepreneur” had begun.
Entrepreneur or Small Business Owner? SaaS Business Model
Entrepreneurs are better known for being “high-risk takers” than those who refer to themselves as “Small Business Owners.”. Few Entrepreneurs would call knocking on doors to get “yard mowing gigs” high risk, which would be true. I contend every true Entrepreneur boldly goes into the unknown mainly for the “thrill of the adventure.”.
The economic potential at the end of the journey is present but takes little mental daily bandwidth. As a six-year-old, I was more motivated by the “work = candy” than the “thrill of the adventure.”. I soon realized I had more money than buying the candy I wanted to be required. Excess money changed my outlook on money and work – forever. Win or lose, those who discover they have “Entrepreneurial DNA” will find the “thrill” the value of their adventure.
SaaS Business Model
After 25+ years doing hardware startups, I decided a SaaS Business Model was my next venture. Idea To Growth LLC will be the name of this business. It will focus on serving companies in each phase of their growth – Idea – Build – Launch – Growth. We will provide a family of services tailored to each of these business phases.
The fun begins!
